Dining Services Worker I (limbo)

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Dining Services Worker.
This is an entry level, limbo (approximately 12 hours/week) Hours are primarily Evenings from 4PM to 9PM with occasional need for hours from 11AM to 4PM on weekends.
Perform routine food service tasks with minimal supervision to include:
preparation of small quantities of fresh produce and related salad items and desserts; service and storage of foods; cleaning and sanitation of work areas, equipment, dishware; and wait staff duties to residents while in service areas such as caf and Dogwood Dining Rooms.
Performs routine food service tasks under direct supervision.
Displays a cheerful, helpful, and courteous appearance.
Assist with preparation of salads appetizers, desserts, and garnish.
Operates the cash register and follows all cash handling procedures as assigned.
Stocks beverage area as well as grab and go items.
Assist other team members with job duties as needed or assigned.
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation in dining service areas.
Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Prior cashier/cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
Previous customer service experience preferred (0-2 years).
Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work well with all types of individuals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
